Glamorous and Sexy Photos
On the internet you can find more pictures of Nadia Bianchi than information about her. She posed for numerous glamorous and sexy photos. She was born in Rome, Italy, probably in 1935. Her father was a hotel owner. When she was 18, she won the title Miss Cinema at the Miss Italia Contest of 1953. Actor Alberto Sordi handed her the award, and among the jury members were Silvana Mangano and Renato Rascel. From 1954 on, Nadia Bianchi appeared in ten films. She made her film debut in Lacrime d'amore/Love Tears (1954, Pino Mercanti). The next year she appeared as a diva of the fumetti (the Italian comics) in Gli innamorati/Wild Love (1955, Mauro Bolognini) starring beautiful Antonella Lualdi and Franco Interlenghi. This drama was entered into the 1956 Cannes Film Festival. Nadia mainly played supporting parts like in the comedy Mi permette, babbo!/Allow me, Daddy! (1956, Mario Bonnard) with Alberto Sordi and Aldo Fabrizi. In 1958 she was billed third in Totò, Peppino e le fanatiche/Toto, Peppino and the Fanatics (1958, Mario Mattoli), a comedy starring Totò and Peppino De Filippo.

Musicarello and Peplum
Nadia Bianchi started the new decade in the musicarello (Italian musical) San Remo, la grande sfida/San Remo: The Big Challenge (1960, Piero Vivarelli) starring Teddy Reno. She then appeared in the peplum (sand and sandals spectacle) La regina delle Amazzoni/Colossus and the Amazon Queen (1960, Vittorio Sala) starring Rod Taylor and muscleman Ed Fury. Nadia played one of the amazons; among the others were Giorgia Moll and Marilù Tolo. One of her most interesting films was also her last: La Ragazza con la valigia/Girl with a suitcase (1961, Valerio Zurlini). This romantic drama starred Claudia Cardinale as a naive nightclub singer who lives on the good will of others. The film was entered into the 1961 Cannes Film Festival. Nadia Bianchi’s role was only a small one, and after this role she retired from the film business. What happened to her? Did she continue to work on stage or television, or did she start a family? Is she still alive now, a glamorous and still sexy granfdmother? We don’t know. Do you?
