Arrivederci, Il Cinema Ritrovato!

It was only last week that we saw dozens of classic and unknown films from the archives in Bologna during Il Cinema Ritrovato 2022. In the Piazza Maggiore, we rediscovered Bernardo Bertolucci's Il Conformista (1970), introduced by Stefania Sandrelli. Another highlight was Erich von Stroheim's magnificently restored Foolish Wives (1922), accompanied by an excellent orchestra. It was a great week! Today on EFSP, a selection of the wonderful programme cards that the Cineteca Bologna makes every year. Then follows a post by Ivo Blom with vintage postcards he found at the Mostra Mercato dell'editoria cinematografica, the book fair of the festival.
