Women are central in the fourth post on our (incomplete) series of collectors cards of 'Von Werden deutscher Filmkunst - Der Stumme Film'. Ross Verlag published this collector card series for the 'Cigaretten-Bilderdienst' Altona-Bahrenfeld in 1935. Ten years earlier women like Henny Porten, Mady Christians and Lil Dagover seemed to rule the German cinema, but a new face arrived, the exquisite Lilian Harvey. Soon she would be the new Queen of German cinema.
