New record: 436,201 views in July

Yes, we’re proud! In July 2026, European Film Star Postcards once again achieved a record number of views.

Over the past year, EFSP has broken this record several times: in September 2025 we recorded 267,964 views, in November 288,011, in January 318,734, in March 353,773 and in April 375,772 views. And last month 436,201 views. Despite – or perhaps because of – the warm weather, you kept coming back time and again to our little oasis on the internet, causing our figures to soar and break through the 400,000-view mark.

Thank you for this wonderful compliment and for your heart-warming comments. Never forget that you’re always very welcome to enjoy the labour of love we put into this.

Ivo, Marlene and Paul.

Marshall Neilan and his stars making music
Spanish collector card/minicard by Chocolate Amatller, Barcelona, in the series Los artistas cinematográficos en la intimidad, series A, no. 29. In between filming, here is the cast of Marshall Neilan's film having fun, with Neilan on the piano, Ronald Colman on the banjo, Paul Ellis on the violin, Lew Cody on the cello, and Neilan's then-wife Blanche Sweet singing. This may have been during the making of The Sporting Venus (1925), in which Sweet, Colman and Cody had the leads.
